<p>Your Laser Pro Mask is ready to use out of the box, but we recommend charging the device fully before the first session (visit the <a href="https://erythroslight.gorgias.help/en-US#article-8739518" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Charging your devices for the first time</em></a> article for more details).</p><p>Your mask will come with the following items:</p><ul><li>1 Laser Pro Mask (Black or White)</li><li>A USB-C charger</li><li>A remote</li><li>A velvet pouch for storage</li><li>A user manual</li><li>To begin using your mask, power it on by holding the small button on the right hand side of the mask for two seconds. Once the device is powered on, the side lights will turn green and it will also beep, indicating the mask is ready for use.</li><li>Position the mask comfortably over your face, using the velcro straps, before beginning your session.</li><li>You have two options to use the Face Mask. 1. The most common method is the remote. 2. Activating voice control.<ul><li>When using the remote, turn it on by pressing the power icon on the remote for two seconds. Once the remote turns on, a white mask will appear and it will state <strong>&quot;Ready To Use&quot;</strong>. The Face Mask and remote must both be on to begin use.</li><li>You may also start a session by saying <strong>&quot;Hi mask&quot;</strong> and following it with a <strong>&quot;voice command&quot;</strong> (you can review all acceptable voice commands by visiting <em>Voice commands for your Laser Pro Mask</em>).</li></ul></li><li>From there, you can select either M1 (for fine lines &amp; wrinkles) or M2 (Acne &amp; inflammation). Once you have selected the treatment, you can use the clock icon on the remote to set the duration of your session. Use the sun icon on the remote to set the intensity.<ul><li>To learn more about our recommendations on the different modes, time of use, and intensity, visit the <em>How to select the right treatment for you</em> Help Center article.</li></ul></li><li>Once your session has ended, the mask will beep and turn off. Be sure to turn off your mask by holding the white button on the right hand side down for about two seconds.</li><li>After each session, gently wipe down your mask with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Then let it dry completely before storing.</li><li>A few things to avoid: don&apos;t submerge your device in water, and skip any abrasive cloths or harsh cleaners, as those can damage the light surface over time.<ul><li>If you ever need to sanitize your mask, we recommend using 70% isopropyl alcohol on a soft cloth or a standard alcohol wipe on the silicone surfaces, let it sit about 30 seconds, then air dry fully before your next session. Never spray or pour liquid directly onto the device, and skip bleach, acetone, or abrasive cleaners. This is for occasional sanitizing, not everyday use, the damp cloth is all you need day to day.</li></ul></li></ul>

How to set up your Laser Pro Mask

<p>Your Neck and Chest Mask is ready to use out of the box but we recommend charging the remote fully before the first session (visit the <em>Charging your devices for the first time</em> article for more details).</p><ol><li>Once the remote is fully charged, be sure to remove it completely from the charger.</li><li>Connect the Neck and Chest Mask&apos;s cord to the remote. <strong>Important:</strong> plug the cord into one of the <strong>top device ports</strong>, not the bottom port &#x2014; the bottom port is used for charging only. <strong>If the remote powers on but the mask doesn&apos;t light up, this is almost always the cause.</strong></li><li>Power on and begin your session.</li></ol>

How to set up your Neck & Chest Mask

How to fully charge your Laser Pro Mask and Neck & Chest Mask remote before your first session.

<p>Before your first session, your Laser Pro and Neck and Chest Mask is ready to use out of the box, but we recommend charging the devices fully before the first session.</p><p>Here&apos;s how to do it for each.</p><h2 id="laser-pro-mask">Laser Pro Mask</h2><ol><li>Connect the mask to its USB-C cable, then plug the other end into a wall outlet.</li><li>Watch the indicator light: red means it&apos;s charging, green means it&apos;s fully charged.</li><li>A full charge takes about 3 hours.</li><li>Once the light turns green, unplug the mask from the charger. <strong>The mask cannot be used while it&apos;s plugged in and charging</strong>, unplugging is a required step.</li><li>Once fully charged, the mask holds about <strong>30 minutes</strong> of use, roughly three 10-minute sessions, before it needs to be charged again.</li></ol><h2 id="neck-and-chest-mask">Neck and Chest Mask</h2><ol><li>Locate the two ports on the remote: the <strong>bottom port is for charging only</strong>, and the top port (along with a second identical backup port) is for connecting the device itself. Make sure you&apos;re using the charging cable in the bottom port.</li><li>Connect the included USB-C cable to the remote and plug it into a wall outlet.</li><li>Once charging is complete, unplug the remote from the charger completely before use, like the Face Mask, it runs on its battery, not while plugged in.</li></ol>

Charging your devices for the first time

How to power on each device and a few tips before your first session.

<h2 id="how-to-use-the-remote-for-your-mask">How to use the remote for your mask</h2><p>The mask remote is fully wireless, and it can control the mask from a comfortable distance.</p><h3 id="before-you-start">Before you start</h3><p>First, turn the mask on by pressing and holding the button on the right side of the mask for about 2 seconds. The daily maximum is 10 minutes total, combined, not per mode.</p><h2 id="how-to-use-the-remote-for-your-neck-and-chest-mask">How to use the remote for your Neck and Chest Mask</h2><p>Unlike your Laser Pro Mask&apos;s wireless remote, the Neck and Chest remote plugs into the mask directly by a cord, and stays connected throughout your session.</p><h3 id="the-neck-and-chest-remotes-ports">The Neck and Chest remote&apos;s ports</h3><p>The remote has <strong>three ports</strong> total:</p><ul><li><strong>Bottom port:</strong> for charging only. This will never power the mask itself, even though the remote can still show as charged.</li><li><strong>Top port and a second identical backup port:</strong> both connect the mask to the remote. They&apos;re built this way for convenience and as a backup for each other, there&apos;s no difference between the two.</li></ul><p>The single most common issue with the Neck &amp; Chest mask is the mask cord being connected to the bottom port (charging-only). <p><strong>Laser Pro Mask:</strong> 10 minutes is the max time recommended per day. This isn&apos;t a per-mode allowance, it&apos;s your full daily maximum. You can:</p><ul><li>Use one mode for the full 10 minutes, or</li><li>Split it, 5 minutes of one mode followed immediately by 5 minutes of the other</li></ul><p>Daily use is completely fine, there&apos;s no need to take rest days. For your very first session, start with just 5 minutes.</p><p><strong>Neck and Chest Mask:</strong> Use 3 to 5 times per week, letting the automatic cycle run its full course each time.</p><h2 id="a-few-things-to-know">A few things to know</h2><ul><li><strong>Clean, dry skin works best.</strong> Anything on your skin, makeup, lotion, or other products, can interfere with how well the light is absorbed. Apply moisturizer or serum <em>after</em> your session, not before.</li><li><strong>Results build over time, not overnight.</strong> Most people notice an early glow in about 2 weeks. Deeper changes, like firmness and fine lines, typically build over 8 to 12 weeks of consistent use. <p>Your mask can be controlled hands-free using voice commands. Voice control is a secondary option, the remote is always your primary and most reliable way to control the mask, so if voice is ever inconsistent, the remote will always work.</p><h2 id="before-you-start">Before you start</h2><ul><li><strong>The mask must already be powered on.</strong> Voice control cannot turn the mask on for you.
