How to use the remote for your mask
The mask remote is fully wireless, and it can control the mask from a comfortable distance.
Before you start
First, turn the mask on by pressing and holding the button on the right side of the mask for about 2 seconds. You'll hear a single beep and see the green side light turn on.
The remote's buttons
| Button | Icon | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Power | A circle with a line through it | Turns the remote on/off |
| Mode | M | Cycles between Mode 1 (red, anti-aging) and Mode 2 (blue, acne) |
| Brightness | A sun icon | Adjusts brightness between Low, Medium, and High |
| Timer | A clock icon | Sets your session length: 5 or 10 minutes |
Selecting a mode
Press the M button to cycle through:
- Mode 1 — Red + Near-Infrared Light, for anti-aging, wrinkles, and radiance
- Mode 2 — Blue Light, for acne and breakouts
Adjusting brightness
Use the sun icon to move between Low, Medium, and High. We recommend starting on Low or Medium and working your way up to High over time. Every brightness level delivers the same wavelengths, the setting simply adjusts how much power is delivered.
Setting your timer
Use the clock icon to set your session length. The daily maximum is 10 minutes total, combined, not per mode.
How to use the remote for your Neck and Chest Mask
Unlike your Laser Pro Mask's wireless remote, the Neck and Chest remote plugs into the mask directly by a cord, and stays connected throughout your session.
The Neck and Chest remote's ports
The remote has three ports total:
- Bottom port: for charging only. This will never power the mask itself, even though the remote can still show as charged.
- Top port and a second identical backup port: both connect the mask to the remote. They're built this way for convenience and as a backup for each other, there's no difference between the two.
The single most common issue with the Neck & Chest mask is the mask cord being connected to the bottom port (charging-only). If the mask isn't lighting up, this is the first thing to check.
Turning it on
- Unplug the remote from the wall charger completely, it runs on its own battery, and won't work while charging.
- Make sure the cord is in the top port pushed all the way in until fully seated.
- Press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds.
What happens next
Once it's on, the mask runs a fixed, automatic 20-minute cycle in three stages:
| Stage | Duration | Light | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 10 minutes | Red + Infrared | Circulation and collagen production |
| 2 | 5 minutes | Blue | Acne reduction and skin purification |
| 3 | 5 minutes | Orange | Radiance and overall skin health |
The light changing color partway through is completely normal. It's part of the built-in cycle, not a sign of a fault.
Manual mode
If you'd prefer more control than the automatic cycle, a manual mode is also available.
- Brightness: use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust.
- Time: use the "T" button to set your session length.
- Mode: use the "M" button to select your session type.
How often to use it
Once the mask is on, secure it around your neck with the velcro strap. We recommend using the automatic cycle three to five times per week.
If something isn't working
- Double-check that the mask cord is in the top port (or backup port) of the remote, not the bottom one, and that it's fully seated.
- Make sure the remote is unplugged from the charger before you try to turn it on.
