Your mask can be controlled hands-free using voice commands. Voice control is a secondary option, the remote is always your primary and most reliable way to control the mask, so if voice is ever inconsistent, the remote will always work.
Before you start
- The mask must already be powered on. Voice control cannot turn the mask on for you. Press and hold the button on the right side of the mask for about 2 seconds, until you hear a single beep and see the green side light.
- A full charge helps responsiveness. A lower charge can make voice noticeably less reliable.
- Be in a quiet room. Background noise is the most common reason a command isn't recognized.
- Speak clearly, and at a moderate pace.
How to activate voice control
- Make sure the mask is already powered on (see above).
- Say the wake phrase: "Hi mask" (two words). "Hello Mask" or other variations won't work.
- Give your command immediately after, with no pause, as if it's one sentence: "Hi Mask, turn red light on."
Any gap between the wake phrase and your command, and the mask won't recognize it. This is the single most common reason voice control seems not to work.

If voice control isn't responding
Double-check these three things first, they resolve the vast majority of voice issues:
- Is the mask actually powered on (green light visible)?
- Are you saying "Hi mask" with no pause before your command?
- Are you in a quiet room?
