No eye protection is needed while using the mask, and there is no risk of eye damage. The mask is FDA-cleared as a Class II device for home use without protection. It is low-power and non-thermal, and includes an open section directly over the eyes, so nothing sits on the eye itself, you can keep your eyes open or closed comfortably throughout your session.

The lasers surrounding that open section are positioned to still treat the under-eye area, so even though the eyes themselves are left open, the surrounding skin is included in your treatment.
